Footnotes
WESTSIDE TIDE was reserved early and traveled comfortably in the two path, angled out sharply leaving the quarter pole and then swung out widest leaving the turn and closed full of run under right handed crop to get up late and prove best. HOT BLOODED was well rated along the inside and was boxed nearing the quarter pole but waited patiently and tipped out leaving the turn to make a three wide bid to gain a short lead by the sixteenth marker but could not hold off the winner late and had to settle for being second best. ST. ARMANDS KEY vied for the early lead two wide entering the first turn, then went on and moved to the inside setting the pace, shook clear leaving the turn and was headed in the furlong grounds and faded late while staying on for the show award. RISK MANAGER was reserved along the inside and advanced up the inside and then eased out nearing the quarter pole and came five wide into the lane and had a good late rally. NANTASKET BEACH stalked the pace three wide and then went up to press the pace three wide, came four wide off the bend and weakened. IRWIN (IRE) chased the pace from the outside and was three wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane and weakened. JAYHAWK was rated between rivals, stayed covered up to the far turn and stumbled by the quarter pole and then came three wide off the bend and moved in to the inside but had no rally. BORDER WAR vied for the early lead on the inside into the first turn, then moved out to press the pace in between rivals two wide and then weakened in the drive.
