MUSICAL DESIGN broke alertly and was rated back and saved ground on the turn, swung out five wide leaving the turn to make a bid and then dueled with LUCY'S COOKIE inside the furlong grounds and slowly got the better of that rival to prove best under a drive. LUCY'S COOKIE tracked the early pace and made a three wide move to be clear off the bend and then was confronted and dueled with the winner but was out-kicked in the final sixteenth. GARUDA was a bit fractious in the gate, settled early, made a three wide run on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn to make a bid but needed more late while besting the rest. WIGGLE AN' WINE dueled for the lead two wide and then was in between rivals leaving the quarter pole and weakened in the drive. BREEZEY BELLA dueled for the lead on the inside but came up empty in the drive.
