Footnotes
SMOKIN JACK FLASH cleared the field and moved towards the inside to show the way in the two path, dropped to the inside on the turn and then drew out to prove much the best under a mild drive. MESSAGEFROMTHEKING tracked the pace along the inside and came two wide off the bend and kept on to hold the place award. ROCKINGHAM JOE was settled along the inside and eased out on the turn to be four wide off the bend and ran on to just miss the place award while finishing on even terms for the show award. NEW YORK NEW YORK stumbled and bumped with a rival at the start, saved ground and advanced on the turn and had a belated rally on the inside to finish on even terms for the show award. GHOSTLY ROSE stalked the pace three wide and then two wide on the turn and weakened in the lane. G SPEEDY was bumped at the break, reserved early and raced two to three wide on the turn and improved late. BUCCHERO'S DUDE broke alertly and tracked the winner from between rivals and then moved out on the turn to be four wide by the quarter pole, swung out six wide leaving the bend and weakened. CRUISING was off slowly and then made a outside run to be five wide on the turn and came eight wide into the lane while being no threat. WESTERN SHAFT was bumped at the start and chased the early pace and stopped.
