NORTH END LADY was settled three wide on the first turn, made a four wide move leaving the five sixteenths, came five wide off the bend and made a bid to duel for command the final sixteenth and won the head bob to prevail under a drive. MARY MARGUERITE pressed the pace three wide on the first turn, then dueled for command two wide on the far turn and made a two wide bid to gain a short lead leaving the furlong marker before being confronted by NORTH END LADY nearing the sixteenth marker and dueled to the wire but lost the head bob to just miss. NO OTHER LIKE YOU was well placed along the inside and saved ground in the pocket on the far turn, moved out to be two wide off the turn but was boxed to leaving the furlong marker and then ran on late in the two path. CHEEKIEST was reserved along the inside, moved out nearing the five sixteenths and came five wide into the lane and had a late rally to gain the last spot in the superfecta. READY TO BATTLE was rated along the outside, made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole but flattened out in the final furlong. SIMPLY STRIKING set a pressured pace in the two path and then dueled for the lead on the inside on the far turn to the furlong marker but weakened in the final sixteenth. STARSHIP SERENITY was allowed to settle early towards the inside, two to four wide on the far turn and came five wide into the lane but lacked a rally. MORE THAN GLORY chased the pace along the inside and came under a ride by the five sixteenth marker and tired. BOTTLE ROCKET (FR) chased the pace in between rivals and tired on the far turn.
