FLORIDA-BRED FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. Free nomination by Sunday, January 4. $625 to enter. A supplemental nomination fee of $100 may be made prior to closing time of entries. After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. Weight: 125 lbs. Non-winners of a graded stakes at a mile or over in 2025-26 allowed 3 lbs.; a stakes race at a mile or over sinc e July 1 or three races other than maiden, claiming or starter, 5 lbs.; stakes placed in 2025-26 or two races other than maiden, claiming, or starter, 7 lbs. Starters to be named by usual time of closing. All fees shall be paid prior to the start of ther ace. Preference will be given to stakes winners, then by highest career earnings. NEOEQUOS stalked the pace two wide, tipped three wide to advanced nearing the quarter pole, struck the front near the sixteenth pole and powered clear late. SEMINOLE CHIEF saved ground in midpack, tipped two wide in upper stretch, split rivals to bid in midstretch but was outkicked by the winner. TANK pressed the pace two wide, vied to the sixteenth pole and lasted for the show. CLASSIC OF COURSE raced well back two and three wide, swung seven wide in upper stretch and rallied belatedly. ECHO LANE chased the pace four wide, bumped with IRON HAND near the five-eighths marker, continued four deep around the far turn and lacked the needed rally. MISTER ABARRIO saved ground off the pace, cut the corner into the lane, reached near even terms in midstretch then flattened out. IRON HAND raced in range three wide, bumped near the five-eighths marker, was clipped behind near the half-mile pole, chased four wide around the far turn and lacked the needed rally. BRAWN dueled inside and tired in the stretch. ADIOS COLE raced three wide in midpack, clipped heels approaching the five-eighths marker, was clipped behind not long after and had no further bids. SCARECROW trailed inside, clipped heels nearing the half-mile pole, swung widest in upper stretch and was no threat.
