TRIUMPHANT ROAD was rated back on the first turn to stalk the leaders towards the inside, drafted two wide entering the far turn and moved out to make a three wide bid leaving the five sixteenths, was clear off the turn four to five wide on the left lead, switched leads by the furlong marker and then was put to crop urging to remain clear to the wire to prove best. MAKTUB was settled early three wide on the first turn, moved out to make a four to five wide run on the far turn, came seven wide into the lane and finished well to be second best. INTERNAL CAPITAL was rated along the rail and saved ground to the quarter pole and swung out six wide leaving the turn making a bid but lacked the needed closing kick. SECRET BAGENT MAN set the pace and then was engaged by the five furlong marker and dueled for command on the inside and faded in the lane. DANGEROUS DRIVER tracked the pace three to four wide and weakened. TITAN had an awkward start and was off last, five wide into the first turn and then made a early move to go up and duel for command on the outside down the backside, raced in the three to two path on the far turn but weakened in the drive. WINEMAN TRAX was allowed to settle early, moved out and made a five to six wide run on the far turn and came seven wide into the lane but had no late rally. FREDERICKSBURG was settled back early, saved ground on the far turn and failed to menace. GET READY TO ROCK was settled on the outside and had pursuit down the backside but tired.
