PREVENT bumped with a rival at the start, showed the way on the inside and was headed nearing the quarter pole, dug in gamely in the lane and turned back that bid to prevail under a drive. HORSEPOWER prompted the pace and made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole to go on even terms with the leader and dueled for command in the lane but was out-gamed late. PRIVATE THOUGHTS was well placed along the inside and then made a three wide bid leaving the quarter pole but had no late kick, held show award. CIAO CHUCK was rated along the outside and was four wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane but needed more late. JOKESTAR bumped with the winner at the break, reserved early, two to four wide on the far turn, came six wide into the lane and had a mild late rally. CLASSIC MO TOWN was allowed to settle three to four wide and raced four wide on the far turn but lacked the needed winning bid.
