LAYABOUT set a clear pace in the two path, was headed down the backstretch, edged back clear still in the two path around the far turn, shook clear in upper stretch and held clear under a drive. PADIDDLE saved ground off the pace, tipped two wide in upper stretch and finished strongly to gain the place late. BALNIKHOV (IRE) settled off the early pace three wide, bid four wide around the far turn, could not match strides with the winner in upper stretch, kept on outside but lost second late. SUMMER CAUSE raced in range inside, was ridden along to keep pace around the far turn and was one-paced through the lane. ZVEREV saved ground off the pace, swung four wide near the quarter pole and rallied belatedly. DIVIN PROPOS (FR) chased the pace two wide and finished evenly. IL SICILIANO trailed in the two path, went four wide around the far turn and never threatened. MISSED THE CUT failed to menace while racing three wide. OHANA HONOR played no factor while racing two wide. OFFLEE NAUGHTY was outrun while racing three and four wide. HAMMERHEAD raced up close three and four wide and stopped around the far turn. ACT A FOOL chased the winner two wide around the first two turns, moved up to press down the backstretch, briefly led, pressed in the three path around the far turn and wilted in the lane.
