Z FIRST pressed the pace in the three path, took the lead near the quarter pole and drew off under a drive. ONE OF ONE saved ground in range, tipped out nearing the eighth pole and ran on for the place. COMPASS RISES settled off the pace outside, advanced in the four path rounding the far turn, loomed outside of the winner turning for home then flattened out. GEAUX AMY set the pace in the two path, yielded near the quarter pole and weakened inside. WORLDLY BEAUTY had her head turned at the start, saved ground off the pace, went two wide around the far turn and never threatened. MY JANNET failed to menace while racing two wide. BURNAWAY trailed throughout.
