SOUFFLE ON FIRE was settled along the rail and saved ground while being patient to leaving the turn and moved out to split rivals nearing the furlong marker and then moved outside the leaders leaving the furlong marker and continued that rally to get up in time to prove best under strong handling. ILIANA stalked the early pace three wide and then two wide and moved closer on the far turn to go on even terms by the furlong marker and made a three wide bid leaving the turn and gained a short lead nearing the sixteenth marker but could not hold off the winner late in a game try. BASILICA LIGHT was sent to the lead to set the pace two wide entering the first turn while clear and then moved to the inside while clear to the far turn, then was engaged by LLIANA nearing the quarter pole, dug in determinedly leaving the three sixteenths but gave way grudgingly in the final sixteenth. THIRD KISS tracked the pace along the inside and drafted behind the leaders on the far turn but was boxed by the quarter pole, looked inside leaving the turn and then outside but was still boxed nearing the furlong marker and then had no late kick when had room. LILYS BACK was rated along early and two wide, then was between rivals on the far turn, came three wide off the bend but weakened in the lane. PRETTY GEISHA chased the pace three wide and tired the final quarter of a mile. VALLEY OF DAWN was allowed to settle early, moved to the outside while four to five wide on the far turn and came wide into the lane but tired and was not a factor.
