IF NOT FOR LUCK trailed outside, cruised up four wide around the turn, kicked in in the lane and drew off late. READIER vied four wide down the backstretch, dueled three wide around the turn, kicked clear in upper stretch, could not resist the winner late but held well clear of the rest. BIG AMADEUS raced off the pace three wide and ran on to gain the show. SNOWNAME disputed the pace from the rail down the backstretch, dropped back entering the turn, angled out midway around the bend and was one-paced through the lane. RETAINED dueled two wide between foes down the backstretch, angled to the rail while still dueling entering the turn, vied to upper stretch and tired. NERO TULIP (GB) had early speed two wide and retreated after three furlongs.
