MY FAVORITE BIRD raced in range two wide between foes, split rivals in upper stretch, bid inside leaving the eighth pole and edged ahead late. RAMSES THE GREAT stalked the pace three wide, bid three deep rounding the far turn, took the lead in upper stretch, led past the eighth pole and was clearly second best late. CHICKEN DANCE saved ground off the pace, angled four wide turning for home and rallied for the show. JUSTIN SMILES saved ground off the pace, steadied early on the first turn, moved up three wide around the far turn and improved position in the lane. BOLERO BAY pressed the pace two wide, dueled two wide around the far turn and faltered in the lane. LUFKIN failed to menace while racing two and three wide. LASER stalked the pace inside and came up empty in the lane. CHALKY WHITE played no factor while racing three and four wide. BANKER'S JET set the pace along the rail and retreated after six furlongs.
