Footnotes
GALLO DE FUEGO stalked the pace from the outside, made a three wide move on the far turn to gain a short lead by the quarter pole, then was confronted to his inside to go on even terms by the three sixteenths marker and had a stretch long duel with that rival and prevailed late to prove best. WISTUCKY was with the pace from the inside and then sat just off the pace entering the turn and then made a inside bid leaving the quarter pole and moved out to the two path leaving the turn to confront the winner by the three sixteenths, had a long duel with that rival but missed. SHADOW COAST vied for the early lead and then went on to set the pace in the two path entering the turn and then was engaged by the winner from his outside and then vied for command in between rivals leaving the five sixteenths and weakened in the drive. FINAL PAYMENT was off a step slow and settled early, came five wide into the lane but had no rally. BEAR CLAW NECKLACE was well placed early and close up while two to three wide on the turn but tired in the drive.
