GRIM REAPER prompted the pace from the outside under a good hold, moved up to press the pace and made a four wide bid by the three eighths marker and was clear by the quarter pole while three wide and then dug in gamely by the furlong marker and fended off all challengers to prevail late under strong crop urging. DUNE ROAD was allowed to settle early, raced two to three wide into the lane and came three wide into the lane, made a four wide bid nearing the furlong marker and was slowly gaining in the furlong grounds but could not get by the winner. JOEY MUSCLES set the early pace on the inside and then dueled for the lead with the winner to the three eighths marker but relented the lead on the turn, then made a rebid by the three sixteenths and fought on to the sixteenth marker but was out-finished. VIGANO was allowed to settle on the inside, swung out six wide leaving the turn and had a late rally but was too late. KEEP ON MOVING was rated along early and made a three to four wide bid nearing the quarter pole, came five wide off the bend but flattened out in the final furlong.
