Footnotes
PROUD AMERICAN raced off the pace two to three wide, split rivals in upper stretch, took over leaving the eighth pole and drove clear. ALARIK (CHI) raced off the pace four wide and rallied outside to gain the place late. TO THE EASTSIDE lacked early speed, raced in the four path around the turn, angled in leaving the eighth pole and rallied between foes. JIMMIES BIG DAY pressed the pace in the three path, took the lead nearing the the five-sixteenths marker, led past the eighth pole and weakened through the final furlong. HOLY STICK (CHI) failed to menace while racing two wide. ZYDECEAUX set the pace in the two path and tired in the final furlong. HE BE HOPPIN had early speed inside and came up empty in the drive.
