FONTINA raced up close at the rail, took the lead near the quarter pole, angled off the rail turning for home, kicked clear nearing the eighth pole and held safe. ZEENA SWIFT chased the pace two and three wide and rallied late to just miss. SOUTHERN PALACE set the pace in the two path and weakened while drifting out in the lane. JAYANA prompted the pace three wide, lacked a closing bid and was transported off the track in the equine ambulance.
