Footnotes
SWING ROUTE settled off the pace while racing three wide, swung out in upper stretch, kicked in and was up in the final strides. SLICEAWAY saved ground in range, tipped two wide near the quarter pole, took the lead nearing the eighth pole and led until the final strides. TURKISH FLAME saved ground off the pace, swung widest in upper stretch and rallied for the show. JENN'S BELIEFS raced two and three wide in midpack, came five wide into the lane, bid in upper stretch but flattened out between foes. SOVEREIGN GRACE saved ground off the pace, tipped two wide nearing the quarter pole, angled back to the rail nearing the eighth pole and was outkicked. ROYAL RETINUE (IRE) rated in range three wide, bid in upper stretch and weakened through the final furlong. DECISIVE MAIARA prompted the pace two wide, took the lead near the five-sixteenths marker but faded in the stretch. LILLESAND was sluggish at the start and never threatened while racing two and three wide. RIYAH AL NIL set the pace along the rail and retreated after six furlongs. GRASS GUZZLER was shut off at the start, lost contact early and was eased through the lane.
