DOMINO VITALI was off a step slow and then settled on the outside under a good hold, advanced four wide on the turn in hand to vie for command by the quarter pole, came five wide off the turn while drawing clear and then drew off to prove much the best under mild crop urging. BLUEBERRY HILL set a pressured pace while racing off the rail, then was two wide on the turn and vied for command by the five sixteenths to the quarter pole, then could not go with the winner while holding on to the place award. QUINN'S PROMISE tracked the early pace drafting behind the leaders, between rivals by the half mile marker and on to the far turn and then moved out and swung six wide leaving the turn and ran on willingly to just miss the place award. HEARTBEAT prompted the pace three wide and made a bid to vie for command on the turn and was in between rivals by the quarter pole but tired in the drive. LADY VINTAGE was close up early on the inside and then stopped on the turn.
