ALPHA BLUE led the way up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the two path and held off a late closer to the wire. DECISIVE PRIDE bumped with the horses to either side at the start, raced in the middle of the pack on the inside early, navigated the turn from the three path, began a bid passing the quarter pole and gained ground late. FRISSON pressed the pace on the outside through the opening quarter, came around the bend in the three path and chased on steadily to the finish. STARRYSTARRYKNIGHT raced in the middle of the pack on the outside up the backstretch, navigated the turn from the four path, began a bid entering the stretch and gained ground late. SIR BANANA BRIAN bumped with the horse to his outside at the start, settled off the pace on the rail for the run up the backstretch, continued around the turn in the four path and made up some mild ground in the stretch. BEAUTY BOLT raced off the pace on the outside up the backstretch, swung out to the five path coming around the bend and passed tiring horses in the lane. BREEZER chased the leader on the inside through the opening stages, saved ground around the bend and weakened in the stretch. INSISTING bumped with the horse to his inside leaving the gate, tracked the leaders between horses up the backstretch, came around the turn in the two path and faded from there. TAPINTOYOURBEER trailed the field throughout, continued around the turn in the two path and was never a factor.
