Footnotes
CRUISE THE NILE set the pace in the two path around the first turn, cleared and angled in down the backstretch, edged clear at the rail around the far turn and held clear under a drive. BURNHAM SQUARE settled off the pace while racing two and three wide between foes, angled out in upper stretch and finished well to gain the place. CHAPMAN'S PEAK prompted the winner three wide around the first turn and two wide around the far turn, could not keep pace nearing the quarter pole but kept on well through the stretch to hold the show. DASHMAN raced in range three and four wide and was one-paced through the lane. TENACIOUS LEADER raced in range at the rail and lacked the needed rally. DEGREE OF RISK saved ground and failed to menace. PAROS made little impact inside. HE'S NOT JOKING played no factor while racing four and five wide. SCARECROW steadied early, raced off the pace two wide and never threatened. ARMY OFFICER chased the pace four wide and faded after six furlongs. SEMINOLE CHIEF was unprepared for the start, raced far back three wide and was in tight through the stretch run. BONUS MOVE steadied along early, went six wide around the far turn and had no response.
