Footnotes
BRODERICK was away alertly and showed the way while clear early in the two path, remained in the two path and turned back a bid nearing the quarter pole and shook clear leaving the turn, then remained clear to the wire on the left lead to prove best under a drive. DIME PAPI was reserved early, on the inside entering the turn and moved out nearing the five sixteenths and came five wide into the lane and rallied to gain the place award. SONG SO SWEET bumped at the break, tracked the early pace and then stalked the pace four wide by the half mile marker and made a three wide bid nearing the quarter pole to vie for command but flattened out leaving the turn and lost the place award late. FREDERICKSBURG was well placed on the inside and tracked the leaders on the rail on the turn, moved out leaving the three sixteenths but faded in the final furlong. FLAG OFFICER chased the early pace from the outside and was four to five wide on the turn, roused by the three eighths marker but had no response. RUN FOR YOUR LIFE broke out and bumped a rival at the start, tracked the pace three wide and tired on the turn.
