REBEL WITH A CAUSE was well placed along the inside and waited for racing room by the quarter pole, tipped out three wide leaving the turn and made a bid to draw away in the final furlong under a hand ride. MIDNIGHT MARTINI set the pace while clear in the two path, dropped to the inside on the turn and came two wide off the turn and was headed by the furlong marker and proved to be no match for the winner while staying on to be second best. WINE CANDY was allowed to settle early, raced two to three wide on the turn and angled out for racing room five wide leaving the turn but flattened out in the final furlong while besting the rest. AUGUSTINIAN stalked the pace and was in between rivals on the turn two to three wide and weakened in the lane. SKIPPING STARS stalked the pace from the outside and was three to four wide on the turn but weakened in the drive.
