Footnotes
CHICKEN DANCE tucked in just behind the pace at the rail, dropped back under urging around the far turn, tipped two wide near the quarter pole, angled further out in upper stretch, closed late between foes and was up on the wire. EMPIRE OF GLORY saved ground off the early pace, went two to three wide around the far turn, angled wider in upper stretch, rallied outside and just missed. RAMSES THE GREAT was bumped not long after the start, raced two in midpack under restraint, made a four wide gain down the backstretch, bid four wide around the far turn, took the lead turning for home, drew clear leaving the eighth pole and led until the final strides. MADAGASCAR had early speed, was hard held three wide, bid three wide between foes around the far turn, led near the five-sixteenths pole, was headed leaving the quarter pole, fought on inside of foes throughout the stretch and was narrowly outfinished. DAVID PEPPERMAN trailed inside, tipped two wide near the quarter pole and rallied belatedly. MAGNETO bumped soon after the start, disputed the pace two wide and weakened in the lane. FORZA AZZURRI bumped soon after the start, raced two and three wide and never threatened. ANTONINO failed to menace while racing two and three wide. NOT NOW NICK set the pace along the rail, stopped around the far turn and was eased through the lane.
