CARACAS checked entering the first turn, then was keen and finally settled entering the backside, tracked in the pocket on the inside and waited for room leaving the quarter pole, angled out for racing room and aim on the lead by the furlong marker and closed well to get up in time to prove best under a drive. MELODY MAN was away alertly to set the pressured pace two wide and then on the inside, shook clear leaving the turn and was put to crop urging but was caught in the shadow of the wire to just miss. SIDEARM checked early before the first turn, then settled into stride and saved ground throughout, cut the corner leaving the turn and finished well late wining the bob for the show award. GALLANT LAD checked entering the first turn, then settled into stride and pulled between rivals by the half mile marker, kept on between rivals on the far turn and came two wide into the lane and then was in traffic nearing the sixteenth marker and then ran on well late to lose the bob for the show award. CUBAN COWBOY tracked the pace and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole and came four wide into the lane but idled to the furlong marker and then kept on but needed more late. AUTHENTIC LEGEND chased the pace and had an outside journey throughout and had no punch ion the lane. KRAKEN was off a step slow, then checked multiple times into the first turn on the inside, moved out and made a four wide run on the far turn, then was blocked by the three sixteenths and flattened out late. KING PRINCE pressed the pace three to two wide and then was empty in the lane.
