VELVET RAGE was well rated early towards the inside, eased out nearing the quarter pole and came three wide off the turn to make a bid and drew away powerfully to prove best under right handed crop urging. SPOTLIGHT GIRL set the pace on the inside while clear, then was headed by the winner leaving the furlong marker and proved to be no match for that rival while clearly second best. GAME IT chased the pace and was three to four wide on the turn but had no rally. NACHO PROBLEM tracked the leader and made a two wide bid leaving the turn but came up empty in the final furlong.
