Footnotes
LOPING ALONG stalked the pace three wide, took over near the five-sixteenths marker, kicked clear in upper stretch and held safe late. TURKISH FLAME settled in range three wide, bid four deep rounding the far turn, could not quite match strides with the winner in upper stretch but kept on willingly to narrow the gap late. TIGER EYE PEARL broke out and bumped RIVER BLOSSOM into COLONIAL SENSE, checked repeatedly in tight quarters through the opening quarter, raced two and three wide between foes and ran on for the show. RIVER BLOSSOM was soundly bumped at the start, trailed two and three wide for six furlongs and rallied belatedly. COLONIAL SENSE was bumped at the start, saved ground off the pace, bid inside of foes in upper stretch but flattened out through the final furlong. ANGELIC QUALITY set a pressured pace inside and tired after six furlongs. JADACAQUIVA failed to menace while racing three and four wide. DEETS DON'T LIE steadied entering the first turn, chased the pace inside and faded in the lane. SOVEREIGN GRACE pressed the pace two wide and tired after six furlongs.
