Footnotes
NO MORE OPTIONS bumped with a rival at the break set a pressured pace on the inside and shook off that rival leaving the turn but was confronted by EL KABONG by the three sixteenths and dug in gamely by the furlong marker and dueled to the wire and prevailed gamely under a drive. EL KABONG was four wide on the first turn, stalked the pace four wide and made a three wide bid off the turn to go on even terms for command by the furlong marker and dueled with the winner to the wire but was out-gamed late to just miss. NATE THE GREAT tracked the pace two wide and drafted behind the leaders on the far turn and swung out five wide leaving the turn and ran on but needed more. POWER FROM ABOVE lunged at the start and was off slowly, reserved three to four wide and came seven wide into the lane and improved position. HOT BLOODED bumped with the winner at the break, then chased the pace four wide and came five wide into the lane and weakened. ANAMNESTIC pressed the pace three wide and made a two wide bid nearing the quarter pole but weakened in the final furlong. MENDELSSOHNS MARCH was reserved on the inside and failed to menace. GRAND DAVID chased the early pace and had outside pursuit and tired.
