After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. *($25,000 to the owners of a registered Florida-bred divided $17,500 to the winner, $5,000 to second, $2,500 to third). Weight: 1 24 lbs. Non-winners of a graded stakes since September 1 allowed 2 lbs.; a stakes race since then or three races other than maiden, claiming, starter or state bred allowance race , 4 lbs. Starters to be named by usual time of closing. All fees shall be pa id prior to the start of the race. Preference will be given to graded stakes winners in 2025-26, stakes placed in 2025-26 then by highest earnings in 2025-26. Trophy to the winning owner. TWIRLING QUEEN vied for the early lead two wide and then went on to set the pace and shake clear on the turn and then widened the margin leaving the turn and then was kept to heavy right handed crop pressure to prove best. ME GOVERNOR was rated early, made a three wide move nearing the quarter pole and came off the turn making a bid but was bumped by the furlong marker and ran on gamely. COCO ABARRIO was settled early and made a four wide move on the turn and came five wide into the lane, bumped between rivals by the furlong marker and then continued on to the wire to best the rest. FLAMINGO WAY was reserved early, made a five wide run on the turn and came six wide off the turn and bumped on the outside by the furlong marker and then was one pace late. GREAT VENEZUELA broke a bit flat and had an inside trip and had a belated rally on the inside while racing evenly. LE AMAZONIA was reserved early, two to three wide on the turn and came five wide into the lane and had a mild late kick. SUNNA chased the pace on the inside and came three wide into the lane but had no rally. MOON SPUN vied for the lead on the inside and then relented the lead to the winner and tracked that rival on the inside on the turn but weakened in the lane. KARAYA stalked the early pace and made a three wide bid leaving the quarter pole but weakened in the final furlong. TALIESIN lunged at the break and trailed throughout, raced three to four wide on the turn and never factored.
