RIDING PRETTY saved ground off the pace, angled three wide in upper stretch, kicked in and drew clear late. BEING BETTY dueled at the rail inside of SHIFTY, edged ahead of that foe leaving the eighth pole but could not withstand the winner late. SHIFTY dueled two wide to midstretch and was outfinished. CONTRARY chased the pace two wide and lacked the needed rally. MINTY raced in range three and four wide and lacked a closing bid. AFRODITA prompted the pace three wide and faded after six furlongs.
