WALKING IN MEMPHIS set the pace in the two path, was headed late on the turn, brushed with IRISH GENT in upper stretch, dueled inside of that foe through the stretch and battled back to prevail. IRISH GENT (IRE) came and bumped foes at the start, bumped again nearing the first turn, raced off the pace two and three wide, rallied through the lane and just missed. SHOTGUN saved ground in range, angled three wide near the five-sixteenths marker, took a short lead outside of the winner near the quarter pole, brushed with that foe in upper stretch, battled to deep stretch and was outfinished. BACK IN THE SADDLE was soundly bumped just after the start, raced off the early pace three wide, bid four wide early on the far turn but came up empty in the lane. EMERGING LEADER (ARG) was bumped between foes at the start, bumped again nearing the first turn, prompted the winner in the three path and was through after a half. PATRICK'S PROMISE chased the pace three and four wide and faltered in the lane. FOLLOWING AN INQUIRY AND AN OBJECTION LODGED BY THE RIDER OF SHOTGUN AGAINST THE WINNER FOR ALLEGED INTERFERENCE IN THE STRETCH, THE STEWARDS FOUND NO REASON TO ALTER THE ORIGINAL ORDER OF FINISH.
