WINPLACEANDSHOW dueled for the lead on the outside of a rival, made a three wide bid to shake clear by the quarter pole, came four wide off the turn and then brushed with LOVE LIKE LUCY by the furlong marker keeping that rival in towards the heavier part of the track and then had a long drive and prevailed gamely to prove best under a drive. LOVE LIKE LUCY dueled for the lead on the inside of the winner in the two path, rated off the duel leaving the five sixteenths and then was asked and moved out leaving the turn and brushed with the winner by the furlong marker while going on even terms for command and then fought willingly to the wire but missed. JESTINA tracked the dueling leaders two to three wide on the turn and came three wide off the turn, moved in leaving the furlong marker but lacked the needed winning bid while besting the rest. CALYPSO MOON stumbled at the break, rated on the outside and was three to four wide on the turn, made a mild bid five wide leaving the turn but flattened out. STEWARDS INQUIRYSAMARITAN'S JOY was outrun early and saved ground but never threatened. JUNEGENAI was out-sprinted early and then raced in the three path on the turn and swung out six wide leaving the turn and never factored. STEWARDS INQUIRY and JOCKEYS OBJECTION concerning the stretch run, the number three against the winner, after the STEWARDS reviewed the replays the OBJECTION was disallowed and the race was left as is.
