THREE YEAR OLDS. Free nomination by Sunday, March 15. A supplemental nomination fee of $300 may be made prior to closing time of entries. After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, and an additional $25,000 to owners of Grad ed Stakes winners and $15,000 to Stakes Placed horses finishing sixth through tenth. 62% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 10% to third, 5% to fourth and 3% to fifth. *($100,000 to the owners of Registered Flo rida-breds, divided $60,000 to the winner, $30,000 to second, $10,000 to third). Any horse that is graded stakes-placed or has participated in a stakes at Gulfstream Park finishing 1-2-3 will be charged no fee to enter. All other horses shall pay a fee of $4,875 to enter. Weight: 123 lbs. Starters to be named by usual time of closing. All fees shall be paid prior to the start of the race. All horses that are nominated or supplemented to the Florida Derby may be subject to out of competition testing prior to the running of the race. Preference will be given to graded stakes winners, graded stakes-placed, non-restricted stakes winners, stakes placed then by highest career earnings. Trophy to the winning owner.
