Footnotes
SULTANA raced off the pace two and three wide, angled four wide in upper stretch, closed outside and was up late. AYRA STARK (ARG) set the pace along the rail, ceded the lead entering the far turn, continued to save ground around the bend, re-bid in upper stretch, kicked clear in midstretch and led until deep stretch in a game try. SPEED SHOPPER stalked the pace inside, went two wide between foes around the far turn, was shuffled back in upper stretch, angled four wide nearing the eighth pole and rallied for the show. JUST BASKING trailed inside, went three wide around the far turn, swung widest in upper stretch and rallied belatedly. RAMSEY POND bumped with BELLEZZA at the start, pressed the pace two wide, took the lead near the three-eighths pole, led to upper stretch and weakened through the final furlong. BELLEZZA (IRE) bumped at the start, raced in range two wide, bid three wide around the far turn and flattened out in the lane. DONA CLOTA (CHI) was outrun inside.
