PALACE VIEW (IRE) saved ground early, was maneuvered off the rail up the backstretch run, commenced his bid on the far turn, was swung six wide into the stretch, rallied under a drive and was up in the last sixteenth. BAYTOWN PARFAIT gained the early lead under a snug hold, was challenged on the far turn, headed in the last eighth and stayed on well to secure the place spot. GIVE ME LIBERTY raced forwardly along the inside, lodged an inside bid into the stretch, loomed at the furlong marker but came up empty in the late going. LONGBRANCH LOU chased the pace while four wide, advanced when asked to on the far turn and flattened out in the stretch. SALVATTORE PRINCE was reserved while three wide and lacked a substantive rally. BATTLE OF DOVER stalked the pace, lodged a brief bid between foes on the far turn and weakened in the stretch. ROCK THE STARS off slowly, was void of speed and did not factor.
