NAVY CROSS settled well while four wide, advanced on the far turn, rallied while five wide in the stretch under left-handed pressure and edged clear late despite racing on his left lead. BLESS AMERICA gained the early lead, remained clear leaving the far turn and was worn down in the last eighth. WINOOSKI saved ground, commenced a bid on the far turn when maneuvered off of the rail, was swung five wide five for the stretch run and offered a late bid. BACKONTHECHAINGANG raced in striking position while four wide, stalked BLESS AMERICA on the far turn but failed to sustain his bid in the stretch. MAKTUB was outrun three wide and did not factor. DIXIE PREACH had an inside trip and never reached contention. HONESTO off slowly, raced in traffic up the back stretch run and failed to threaten. SELECTO never menaced. INCHON reared at the start spotting the field a few lengths, was outpaced five wide and had no bid. NINJA STAR raced forwardly three wide, chased along the inside on the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. WARRIOR WAYNE stalked the early pace, dropped back on the far turn and weakened in the stretch.
