EL MUHEET saved ground, was maneuvered off the rail just past the five-sixteenths marker, lodged a bid between rivals, hit the front approaching the eighth pole and dug in gamely to fend off a willing NANO MAN. The latter was outrun early, commenced his bid on the turn, was swung five wide for the stretch run, rallied strongly and narrowly missed. LODATO reserved while three wide, stayed on while four wide in the stretch but was outpaced by the top pair in the last sixteenth. FIRST NAVY JACK (IRE) leaned out at the start, led early, was challenged on the turn and folded. LOUD APPLAUSE chased while four wide and weakened. BUCCHERO'S DUDE raced in striking position while three wide and offered no response when called upon. LAST RUN raced forwardly along the inside and dropped back on the turn.
