BOLERO BAY broke sharply for command along the inside, led under pressure from RAMSES THE GREAT, shook off that one midway through the far turn, kicked away while floating slightly about the stretch. MADAGASCAR tracked the pace three wide, held at bay by the winner while being clear of the rest for the place award. GANADOR broke through the gate prior to the start and was held onto by the assistant starter, tracked the pace from the inside, backed off a few lengths and trailed through the far turn, picked off a couple foes in the stretch. FORZA AZZURRI tracked the pace between runners, failed to respond to the rider's encouragement in the far turn, flattened out in the stretch. RAMSES THE GREAT pressed the pace from the two path, was cued under a loose rein through the far turn but came up empty, retreated in the stretch.
