Footnotes
CANDY ADDICTION settled off the pace in the two path, steadily advanced between foes up the backstretch, closed in along the rail of the far turn before swinging out three wide at the top of the stretch and drove clear. VAN CLEEF settled off the pace, steadily advanced five wide through the far turn, entered the stretch just behind the pace but was held at bay by the winner. NUMINOUS chased the early pace, closed in approaching the far turn and launched an inside bid at the three eighths, led through the far turn until meeting a bid from the eventual winner at the top of the stretch, gave way to one more at the sixteenth. CROWN SEEKER got shuffled back at the start, trailed for most, closed willingly four wide in the stretch. SECRET POWER moved up to track the pace three wide, made no bid, flattened out along the left lead. TWICE ENTICED was rated four wide, never threatened. JAKER took charge along the inside under pressure from KUKUK, allowed passage for an inside bid from NUMINOUS at the three eighths, slowly weakened then on. KUKUK applied pressure to the early pace setter, retreated through the far turn, showed little in the stretch.
