RELAMPAGO VERDE pressed the pace three wide and made a two wide bid on the far turn to shake clear by the quarter pole, then lasted to prove best under a drive. BORDER WAR was settled early, made a rail middle move to be in contention by the half mile marker, continued to advance on the far turn but was boxed nearing the quarter pole and had to wait, moved out leaving the turn and closed well on the outside but missed. CREATE TROUBLE was rated along on the outside and made a three wide move by the quarter pole to loom boldly off the turn but flattened out in the final sixteenth. ONE MORE BREW chased the pace on the inside and then moved out to be two wide down the backside but had no rally. GRAND DAVID set a pressured pace on the inside while in the two path, dropped to the inside on the far turn but gave way in the lane. POWER FROM ABOVE chased the early pace from in between rivals, then fell back and moved out to be four to five wide on the turn and was roused by the quarter pole but came up empty.
