Footnotes
IN TIMING showed the way crossing over into the first turn to be clear on the first turn, then was pressed nearing the half mile marker and continued to be pressed to the quarter pole and came two wide off the turn and drifted in the lane while holding on late to prevail under a drive. SUNFISH was settled on the inside early, moved out to be two to four wide on the far turn while advancing in hand and came six wide into the lane and closed well before being bumped by the sixteenth marker and then continued to rally late while being forced out and bumped in late stretch, missed. JUSTIFIED GIFT stalked the winner and then went up to press the pace two wide to the quarter pole, came three wide off the turn and fought on to the furlong marker, switched to left handed crop nearing the sixteenth marker and then drifted out and bumped CLOCKLIKE significantly and lost the place award late. CLOCKLIKE was well rated two to three wide, came five wide into the lane and made a bid, came out and bumped a rival at the sixteenth marker and then continued to gain late but was bumped hard between rivals and had checked nearing the wire. KINDA CLEVER was well placed along the inside and saved ground to the quarter pole, came two wide off the turn and kept on but needed more. SHE'S CHLOE was settled two wide early, moved to the inside on the far turn while trailing, cut the corner leaving the turn and had a belated rally. STEWARDS INQUIRY concerning the stretch run also JOCKEYS OBJECTION the number one and the number seven against the number eight, the OBJECTIONS were disallowed but the STEWARDS DISQUALIFIED the number three for coming out in late stretch and placed that horse fourth.
