JAYHAWK dueled for the lead two wide and made a two wide bid to shake clear leaving the quarter pole, came three wide off the turn and held gamely to prove best under a drive. WALTER ME LAD was well rated along the inside, eased out leaving the five sixteenths and made a four wide bid leaving the tun to loom boldly by the furlong marker and was slowly gaining but hung late. NAVY CROSS tracked the pace three wide and was four wide by the quarter pole but faded while besting the rest. SHINIGAMI dueled for the lead on the inside and weakened in the drive. THE HONEYMAN was bumped at the start, settled along the inside and came two wide into the lane but had no rally. JIM'S HOPE bumped with a rival at the start, settled in between rivals on the first turn, then was two wide on the far turn and came three wide into the lane but lacked a solid rally. RASHID settled along the outside and had pursuit down the backside and was four wide on the far turn and tired.
