Footnotes
HAWK vied for the early lead, contested the pace from the inside along the backstretch, shook free into the turn, held a clear lead to mid-stretch, all out into the final sixteenth and just lasted over the oncoming runner-up. SNEAK PREVIEW was away a bit slowly, allowed to settle in the early stages while never far back, made a sustained bid while two wide heading into the turn, continued that rally into the stretch, was gaining late, challenged the winner in deep stretch, just missed for the win, well clear for second. BRICK CITY bobbled then made contact with SNEAK PREVIEW leaving the start, unhurried along the backstretch, ridden along three to four wide nearing the quarter pole, was no match for the top pair into the stretch but stayed on to be a clear third. CAMIGOL settled off of the early pace while never far back, saved ground into the turn, chased from the two path nearing the quarter pole, lacked the needed response into the stretch, weakened. ROGER THAT DANA showed good early speed, contested the pace outside of HAWK along the backstretch run, could not keep pace with that rival into the turn, gave way nearing the quarter pole, stopped into the stretch, eased through the lane, walked off.
