PROVERB settled off the pace while racing two wide, angled four wide near the quarter pole, seized command nearing the the eighth pole and kicked clear soon after. SUPER CURIOSO (ARG) set the pace along the rail, was collared nearing the five-sixteenths pole, fought back inside to defeat the pace challengers but was no match for the winner in the final furlong. DOC AMSTER saved ground in range, tipped two wide near the quarter pole, shifted four wide in midstretch and was along for the show. URANIUM prompted the pace two wide, took the lead between foes nearing the five-sixteenths pole, vied between in upper stretch but faded through the final furlong. QUINCY CAFE failed to menace while racing four and five wide. WIND NINETY NINE was outrun inside. STORM BRAVE stalked the pace three wide, bid nearing the five-sixteenths pole, had the rider lose the whip in upper stretch and faltered.
