SURFER'S JOY set a pressured pace on the inside and then turned back a bid by the quarter pole and shook clear by the three sixteenths but was headed again by the furlong marker and was passed by the sixteenth marker but came back again and got up to prove best under a drive in a gutsy score. TONYTONE tracked the pace and made a three wide bid by the quarter pole to go nearly on even terms, but was repelled by the winner leaving the turn and idled, made another bid nearing the furlong marker and hit the front by the sixteenth marker but hung once in front and was nailed late to just miss and was bumped after the wire. JACKPOT CREE lunged at the break, then was forwardly placed and checked into the first turn on the inside, then proceeded to be checked repeatedly on the first turn, moved out nearing the three eighths marker and advanced four wide by the quarter pole, came five wide off the turn and made a bid but hung late while needing more. FOUR GUNS pressed the pace two wide and then was in between rivals by the three eighths marker and fell back by the five sixteenths and moved to the rail by the quarter pole and weakened in the lane. I WISH YOU LOVE bobbled at the break, then was settled early towards the inside, then was in the two path midway on the far turn and swung out four wide leaving the turn but had no kick. VAN CLEEF was settled early and raced four wide on the far turn and tired.
