Footnotes
LATCH THE HATCH set a pressured pace and was on the inside on the turn, made a two wide bid to draw clear leaving the turn and then maintained a safe margin to the wire to prove best under a drive. MIAMI FRANK tracked the leaders and was three wide on the turn, swung out four wide while bumping GOLDENTOWN leaving the turn and then rallied well but could not get to the winner while clearly second best. GOLDENTOWN bumped at the break, then stalked the pace from the outside and was four wide on the turn, bumped and pushed out leaving the turn and then weakened while getting the nod for the show award late. ROCKETEER pressed the pace two wide and came three wide into the lane but weakened, lost show award late. TOP MAVERICK bumped with a rival at the break, settled back early, six wide into the lane and drifted in to the rail through the lane while not being asked for his best. ROAR READY was allowed to settle early and lacked a rally. MR. PEEKS chased the pace on the inside and made a mild bid but weakened in the final furlong.
