HAPPY RIDE vied for the early lead away from the start, took command then crossed over to the rail and set a pressured pace from the inside heading into the turn, contested solid fractions to the quarter, shook free into the stretch, kept to task into the final sixteenth, held sway to the wire. ROXY vied for the early lead with HAPPY RIDE then ceded the front to that foe, tracked between rivals into the turn, angled out at the quarter marker and swung widest to upper stretch, could not impact the winner into the final sixteenth but fought on late and held well for the place. MUSICAL DESIGN close up to early pace, tracked from the inside heading into the turn, kept an inside path to the stretch, was outkicked for the place honors in the final sixteenth but held safely for the show. VUELA PALOMA bobbled at the start, rushed up in the early going and disputed the pace outside of HAPPY RIDE heading to the turn, contested solid fractions approaching the quarter, turned away into upper stretch, yielded in the final sixteenth and was outfinished for the minor awards. MYWIFEKNOWSITALL broke a step slowly, settled off of the early pace then worked to the outside of rivals along the backstretch, chased three wide along the turn, ran in pursuit to mid-stretch, could not muster the needed late response.
