Footnotes
LOOKING FOR STARS prompted ONE MORE DUKE racing along the outside, joined that one entering the stretch and prevailed in a stiff drive. ONE MORE DUKE saved ground setting the pace, responded when challenged by LOOKING FOR STARS but was unable to stay with that one in the latte stages in a game try. NUMINOUS was unhurried, rallied three-wide the final quarter and finished well in a good effort. SECRET POWER settled in the back of the field, came four-wide into the stretch and went evenly late. SMOOTH AN EASY was allowed to settle while racing two-wide but was unable to seriously threaten. GIRVIN'S GAMBIT saved ground racing in the middle of the field and failed to be a factor. KUKUK saved ground chasing the early pace and tired.
