Footnotes
FLY ERIK FLY brushed at the start, was urged to advance on the far turn, responded to stiff pressure in the stretch and reeled in SHINIGAMI in the last seventy yards. The latter seized command from the outset, bounded clear on the far turn, shortened his stride in the late going and was caught. BACK IN THE SADDLE bothered a bit at the start, saved ground throughout and lacked a substantive rally despite gaining a minor share. WALTER ME LAD reluctant to load into the starting gate, raced forwardly while four wide and failed to menace. MCKELLEN came in at the start, was outpaced while four wide, moved five wide into the stretch and offered no bid. HALFIN was outpaced between rivals and always outrun.
