FOUR YEAR OLDS AND UPWARD. Free nomination by Saturday, May 2. $625 to enter. A $100 supplemental nominations may be made at time of entry. After payment of 1% to all owners of horses finishing sixth through last, 60% of the remaining purse shall be paid to the owner of the winner, 20% to second, 12% to third, 5% to fourth, and 3% to fifth. *($25,000 to the owners of a Florida-bred divided $12,500 to the winner, $7.500 to second, $2.750 to third $1,500 to fourth and $750 to fifth). Weight: 124 lbs. Non-w inners of a stakes on turf since October 1 allowed 2 lbs.; two races other than maiden, claiming, starter or state-bred allowance, 4 lbs. All fees shall be paid prior to the start of the race. Preference will be given to stakes winners, stakes placed then by highest earnings in 2025-26. GRAN ORIENTE (CHI) saved ground, advanced when maneuvered off the rail entering the far turn, was swung five wide for the stretch run and rallied strongly under energetic handling. MISSED THE CUT off a step slowly, was brushed in the early going, reserved, commenced his bid far on the turn and managed a late bid to garner the place spot. INDECISIVENESS dueled in the early going, took over on the first turn, was headed leaving the far turn and proved no match. TANK raced forwardly along the inside, remained inside for the stretch run and went evenly. HORSEPOWER raced in the striking position while four wide and failed to menace. DISCREET DANCER was outpaced while five wide, went three wide into the stretch and lacked a rally. PARIS SURPRISE was always outrun. WAR BOMBER (IRE) dueled early, settled into a stalking position and weakened in the stretch.
