BRIGADE COMMANDER settled well in mid-pack, advanced on the far turn, moved four into the stretch and readily kicked clear in the stretch under intermittent urging. PEPPERMINT MAN gained the early lead, was headed on the far turn, proved no match but kept on the secure the place spot. BOY O' BOY raced forwardly along the inside, was outpaced on the far turn and stayed on in the stretch. OUTTA MONEY saved ground, urged to improve position on the far turn and lacked a rally. BACKDOOR ROYALTY chased the pace while five wide, gained a brief lead on the far turn and came up empty in the stretch. MISCHIEVOUS HAN was off slowly and never menaced. KAZOOZA was off slowly, outpaced while five wide and no factor. EQUULEUS was reserved while three wide and failed to threaten. ACQUISITIVE was reluctant to load in the starting gate and always outrun.
